For everyone looking for Emeril air fryer recipes, here’s exactly what’s available — plus an explanation about his cookbook to clear up the confusion.
Air fryers do a great job on basics like French fries, but that’s just the beginning. Are you ready to discover what else these amazing little machines will do? Good!
You’ll find lots of help on this site (just click on “Air Fryer Recipes” in the menu above), and this particular page was created because so many of you are searching for air fryer recipes by Emeril.
The only bad news is that Mr. Lagasse has not published a tremendous number of recipes. However, those that he does give us are so good you will not be disappointed. They’re delicious and unique, and you don’t have to be a trained chef to cook them. Read on to see for yourself!
Emeril Air Fryer Cookbook?
There has been much confusion about one of Emeril Lagasse’s cookbooks. The title is “Emeril’s Cooking with Power“, and this is not an air fryer cookbook. As clearly stated in the book’s subtitle, these recipes were developed for cooking in a slow cooker, multi cooker, pressure cooker, and deep fryer. That’s it – no air fryer recipes.
If you’re familiar with air fryers you know that deep fryer recipes don’t always work. For example, you can’t use any kind of wet, drippy batter. To get that type of coating in an air fryer, you have to take a different approach, and recipes can be drastically different from what you’d use for deep frying.
Of course, if you love Emeril’s creations and you have a slow cooker, Instant Pot, or deep fryer, you’ll certainly want to check out this cookbook. You can see it on Amazon here: Emeril’s Cooking with Power: 100 Delicious Recipes Starring Your Slow Cooker, Multi Cooker, Pressure Cooker, and Deep Fryer
Finally, Emeril Has Also Written an Air Fryer Cookbook
It is available in hard cover and features full page color photos. Otherwise there is very little information about the book as to page count, number of recipes or types of dishes. Unfortunately it doesn’t even have the “look inside” feature on Amazon.
Emeril Lagasse Everyday Recipes for the Power AirFryer 360
IMPORTANT: This cookbook was written specifically for the Power Airfryer 360, which is not an air fryer but a multi-function oven. That means that only some of the recipes in this cookbook are for air frying. Some recipes will use the oven’s other functions such as baking, roasting, slow cooking, and dehydrating.
Emeril Lagasse Air Fryer Recipes
Now, on to the recipes that you can find online for free! This first set is small but definitely worth a look. It’s in a PDF file (link is below) and includes the following:
- Banana Bread
- Chicken Wings with Lemon, Honey & Black Pepper Drizzle
- Mac & Cheese
- Salmon with Tomato Pansause
- Filet Mignon with Blue Cheese Crust
Each of those recipes includes a full color photo and step-by-step instructions. All 5 dishes use common ingredients and are easy to make.
Even the blue cheese crusted filets don’t sound complicated because the meat is not completely encased. His method is to partially cook the meat, add the crust on top only, and then finish cooking. Besides being delicious, what an impressive dish to serve!
Click here to see the PDF file with these Emeril Air Fryer Recipes.
25 More Air Fryer Recipes by Emeril
The largest recipe collection from Emeril is on his website. At this writing there are a total of 25, and the only downside is that they’re in a slideshow so you have to scroll through one at a time. To see them all, click here to go to the Emerils.com website.
If you hate flipping through slideshows as much as I do, check out my 10 favorites below. You can click on any recipe to go straight to the page with the ingredients, directions, and photo of that particular dish.
- Air Fried Hot Wings
With a sauce so good you’ll make extra to use on everything (it will keep in fridge for a few months) - Poppy Seed Cakes
Using a combination of lemon, vanilla, and almond flavors, oh my! - Honey Butter Glazed Carrots
Great for carrot lovers and good enough to convert everyone else. - Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Lemon, Garlic, and Parmesan
A delicious way to prepare this all-the-rage veggie with lots of crisp. - Italian Sausage and Bell Pepper Breakfast Strata
An egg dish with my favorite combination of Italian style ingredients. - Lemon Rosemary Scones
Air fryers do an amazing job of cooking scones (and lots of other baked goods). - Garlicky Air Fried Shrimp
A fabulous seafood dish ready in 20 minutes. - Braised Chicken Thighs with Rosemary and Lemon
Turns plain chicken into a unique taste bud treat. - Beef Satay with Peanut Sauce
An interesting change of pace from your standard family fare. - Bacon and Corn Pudding
A decadent side dish of southern comfort food, Emeril style.
All of the recipes in the “favorites” list were developed by Emeril for his 5.3 quart air fryer. You don’t need his brand name air fryer for these recipes to work, but you do need to pay attention to size. If your air fryer is smaller, you may have to cook in batches or make other minor adjustments.
Also note that several of his recipes require use of an air fryer pan for baking. If you don’t already own one, it’s a small investment that you will not regret!
Like those 5 recipes in that PDF file, all of the above dishes use common ingredients and are reasonably simple to prepare. It’s Emeril’s talent for choosing the perfect combinations that make them delicious and extra special.
To date these are the only Emeril air fryer recipes available – and that’s too bad because reading through these will make you wish that he would write his own air fryer cookbook!

Mr Lagasse your Air Fryer is the bomb. My husband has been craving Filet Mignon and I could never get it right and it was on my list to cook tonight for him and it was amazing, so tender. Thank you so much.

We just purchased the Emeril Lagasse Air Fryer Pro and cannot seem able to find a

I have the same issue – I received a Rapid Air Fryer and can’t seem to find any recipes for this machine – all the recipes are for the 360. Any help would be appreciated, I am just winging it for now…
Susan LaBorde says
I’m sorry but I have no idea what a “Rapid Air Fryer” is. You could try searching. Many people like Google but personally I prefer DuckDuckGo.com. Pinterest is an excellent source for recipes, and you might also try social media sites such as Facebook. Maybe there is a Facebook group for the appliance you own.
Hope that helps,
Susan
Joe says
I despise my 360…. I had a power air fryer, the basket style and loved it.. literally used it everyday i was home. I wore it out in a years time, so i had to buy something new. the only thing i didn’t like about the basket style air fryer was the basket. so when i had to get something else i wanted one with racks that would let me do more.. that’s why i have the 360… problem is, the 360 ISN’T a good “Air Fryer”.. it’s an ok toaster oven (overpriced for that) and the rotisserie works ok.. the convection oven part is so so… it’s so bad, I’m putting it back in the box and sending it back next week… .now its’ time to find something that really is a good air fryer with racks…
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Joe,
Sorry about your experience, but thanks so much for sharing. I’m not terribly surprised because the 360 is a “multi-function” appliance. Even a convection oven and an air fryer are not the same thing. In my experience, the best appliances are usually those that do one thing and do it very well.
Good luck finding an air fryer you really like!
Susan
Donna says
I agree. Its just a toaster with a rotisserie that doesn’t perform that well. Very disappointed in this product.
David says
Do you have a cookbook for the Air Fry 360
If so where can I purchase

Hi Jill,
Can you send a link to the 350 air fryer you’re referring to?
Thanks,

Thom says
We bought the pressure cooker air fryer and cannot find any instructions concerning the slow cooking feature. I assume it works as a crock pot but not ready to experiment with it until I find some ample instructions. Do any exist?
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Thom,
Please see this page: https://www.tristarcares.com/product-pressure-air-fryer-emeril.php
There you will find manuals (PDF files) for several models of Emeril’s Pressure Air Fryer. I glanced through a few of them, and I see no mention of how to use the slow cooker feature. They show the button on the control panel but give now explanations on how to use it.
I’m sorry I don’t know of any other helpful information, but this product is made by Tristar.

I just received the emeril pressure air fryer and specifically ordered the hardcover book that was advertised with it, but it didn’t come in the box. Please let me know what i need to do to get it. Thank you
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Sara,
Where did you buy the air fryer? You need to go back to that seller’s website (Amazon or Walmart or wherever you shopped) and contact the company that sold you the product. They should be able to answer your question.
Susan
Avis Sutherland says
Very disappointed, after purchasing the air fryer 360 I thought, well, I’ll also purchase
the pressure air fryer.
What’s up? NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL OR RECIPE BOOK?
Misleading for sure. Sorry I made the purchases.
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Avis,
Where did you buy it? I would contact that seller and ask them for the instruction manual. It may be available somewhere online. Or, you could just return the air fryer and get your money back.

I am looking for a simple fried chicken recipe for the 360. With directions on how long to cook and on what temperature. This is going to be my 1st time using it. And I just need a lil guidance

My husband and I opened up the Power Airfryer and gave it a whirl with chicken wings. I breaded them and then ran them for about 35 min on airfry. They came out awesome. I did two different sauces and these were the best wings we ever had. Crispy outside and juicy inside. The next morning I did bacon. We became concerned when the unit started smoking. I emptied the drip pan and it was fine. I have a Hello Fresh account and I am looking forward to incorporating some of these recipes with my Power Airfryer.
Sandy says
We bought the Pressure AirFryer Plus. A lot of recipes that I have looked at say that you need to pre heat the air fryer prior to cooking what ever it is your cooking at the time. How do you pre heat this one?
Jack says
According to what I have read, when you select the pre-set functions (airfry, roast, bake, etc.) a short pre-heat period is automatically included.
Lisa Adams says
does anyone know where i can get the air fryer basket for the Emeril Lagasse 6-qt. Pressure Cooker Air Fryer, it does not come with the basket for air frying frenchfries etc, cant seem to find where to buy one at, thanks, lisa
Jo says
Go to search and type emerill air fryer accessories.

I just received the 360 and was supprised to see that it included 2 extra racks, 2 extra grilling trays, and book. Did a 4 lb chicken and in 50 min it came out GREAT. So far so good. I want to try a Chicken Parm today.
Kelvin D says
I bought the 360 to take the place of my deep fryer & was looking forward to using it for all of it’s other functions for new recipes.
My first meal was a southern fried chicken leg recipe I found on this site…
I was not that impressed. The chicken didn’t brown at all. Perhaps I did’n spray enough oil on the chicken prior to cooking, that being said the use of me not using oil was the reason I got rid of my deep fryer in the fist place. The chicken was barely cooked completely & actually took longer than my deep fryer ever did. The chicken was also tough or rubbery as some would call it. The positive was it did have a decent flavor & was very juicy. I’m a bit apprehensive about trying other recipes but I’m not one to just give up so I will figure it out.
The one thing I will never put in it tho is a steak. Steak is meant for bbq only
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Kelvin,
I’m sorry your chicken didn’t turn out well, and I recommend you look for a recipe written specifically for the 360. As I mentioned in above comments, what you have is not an air fryer but rather a multi-function appliance. I’ve just never had good luck with those (I go back to the expression “Jack of all trades, master of none.”).
Perhaps you could find a forum or Facebook group of 360 owners who might have some answers for you. Also, keep in mind that you’ll always have variables that might require shorter or longer cooking times than a recipe states. For instance, are your chicken legs exactly the same weight as those used in a test recipe? Or, what was the temperature of your chicken when you started cooking? That is, your chicken legs could be completely thawed yet the bones are still icy inside, so that might increase the length of time it takes to fully cook them.
I’m sorry I can’t be more help with the 360, but I don’t own it, have never reviewed it, and it’s just not something I’m willing to promote. Hopefully, you’ll have better luck as you use it more.
Best,
Susan

We bought Emeril’s Power Air Fryer 360 (have recipie book).
It seems that NuWave Bravo XL has more recipes on line ( have not bought this Air Fryer). Can you tell me as to why Emeril’s Power Air Fryer 360, has so few recipes ??
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Micheal,
I’m sorry but I have no idea! I certainly can’t speak for Emeril, but it does surprise me that he hasn’t done more recipes for the 360 because his other cookbook is extremely popular.
Best,
Susan

Freedom of opinion isn’t permitted here…
I told a truthful story about my experience & It was’t posted…
Talk about censorship..
This probably won’t be posted either but those reading it get my point before they delete it.
You know what you can do with this site…. I won’t be back
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Kelvin,
My apologies for the delay in getting recent comments (all over the site) approved and posted.
This may be unprofessional of me, but since I’ve been accused of “censorship”, I’ll just be honest about my personal circumstances. I am currently undergoing treatment for colorectal cancer and recovering from 11 days in the hospital for surgery, complications from that, then a second surgery. Unfortunately I’m still so weak that there are some days that I simply can’t work. However, I only have one more round of chemo and then I hope to be back 100% by the end of the year.
Meanwhile I am doing my best to keep up with comments, responses, and all the other aspects of operating the site. Please be assured that nothing here is ever censored. After all, the entire point of this site is to help people discover all the pros AND cons of an appliance before they spend their hard earned money.
Peace,
Susan

I bought the air fryer pressure cooker. It looks so good on TV when they tell you all about until you do it your self. I made much better fried chicken just out the oven. I was very disappointed and tried sending it back after I was told by UPS it will cost $30. I called them and they gave me a credit for 30 to keep it. I still haven’t use it since that one time.
not sure if I will. I may have a rainy day to try this machine again. Good Luck, not everything looks good on TV.

I just got my pressure air fryer, and I can’t seem to find any recipes that are just plain cooking. So far I have not been real impressed, but I am still going to try to use it. There was no instructions for cooking fries in the air fryer. Do I put them in the basket or try the rack ? Please let me know where I can get recipes without downloading a lot of stuff.

Susan LaBorde says
Hi Toni,
It seems you are one of many who are frustrated with that appliance. All I can suggest is to go to Emeril’s website and ask him where you can find instructions and recipes. You might also want to look for a Facebook group of owners of this particular appliance.
I’m sorry I can’t be more help, but I don’t own the pressure air fryer and haven’t reviewed it. I created the above article only to provide some Emeril air fryer recipes that can be found online.
Good luck!

My husband and I bought the 360 oven air fryer Emirell. This was the biggest
Mistake we ever made. This is money lost and with our income bought tears to my eyes. I will never be so stupid again. This purchase make me sick every time I think about it.

The purpose of this article is strictly to provide recipes. I have no advice about the appliance itself as I’ve never used it and never even researched it.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It would be helpful to know more details.

Love my 360!!! I have found that my 360 is awesome. scared at first but now using it way more. I cooked my old meatloaf recipe last night. came out moist and cooked perfect in half the time without heating up the house. My first ever rotisserie chicken came out great. Fixing to retire the old toaster oven to the camper.
Jack says
Sharon, could you please share your recipes (especially the meatloaf)? Jack
HollyB says
I have the 360 and I’m pleased so far. Can you clarify what is the difference between using the roast feature verses the baking option. In a traditional oven, everything is done by baking. I cooked a turkey breast on the baking option and later noticed I should have used the roasting option. Thanks.
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Holly,
I’m sorry, but no, I can’t clarify anything or provide any answers or information or advice about the appliance. As stated several times in previous comments, I don’t own the Emeril appliance and have never researched or reviewed it. The purpose of the above article is simply to provide recipes.
I suggest you direct your questions to Chef Emeril’s website, or to the retailer from whom you purchased your appliance.
Hope that helps,
Susan
Ken says
We just bought the 360XL and Emeril’s everyday recipe book for the 360. My question is why are recipes different in the book that came with the 360 and his other book we ordered. One book says for potato fries to soak potatoes and the other does not mention this.
Susan LaBorde says
Hi Ken,
You would have to ask that question on the Emeril site. My opinion is that soaking is supposed to draw out some of the starch and make the potatoes less likely to stick together. Soaking may also help make them slightly crispier. Personally, I never soak potatoes for fries, but that’s just my personal taste preference.
And I’m sorry for the delay getting this posted. For some reason my “comments” are not working correctly.
Best,
Susan

Wow with all the complaint being said I Love my power 360. I cook everything in it. Maybe I should write a cookbook about it. I have zero complaints. Yes I have Emerils cookbooks as well. If I see an air fryer recipe on the interwebs I cook it as it says for air fryers. If it’s not great I tweak it till I get it right in the 360. Not many times have I had to go farther than one go round to make them good! Next is to try the rotisserie part !
